Our All Star cheer curriculum is a full year program with practices starting in May and team placement evaluations mid summer.  We have 2 mandatory team practices and 1 mandatory tumbling class each week.  This time is used to perfect our 2 1/2 minute competition routine.  The teams travel to 6-8 competitions each season.  Competitions are an opportunity to showcase the athletes’ hard work throughout the year.

All Star Cheer requires a true commitment from both the athletes and the parents as well.  We have set up guidelines in our team handbook, which we expect all families to follow in order to have a successful season.

All Star Prep cheer is a great way to introduce an athlete to the sport of All Star cheerleading at less of a time commitment and at a lower cost. All Star Prep is not a recreational cheer program; it is a serious competitive team sport and has its own level of commitment requirements. Our All Star Prep program helps new comers build new skills, develop a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship and build new friendships while having fun. Additionally, All Star Prep provides a first taste of All Star cheerleading or allows cheerleaders to continue cheering after conclusion of the recreational cheer season.

The All Star Prep teams will compete in the USASF Prep division. They have mandatory practice once a week to perfect the two minute routine, made up of tumbling, stunting, jumping, a pyramid and a dance, to showcase at local competitions. The teams also have 1 mandatory tumbling class each week. Each All Star Prep team will participate in 4 1 day competitions all within driving distance. Our teams will be competing in the same competitions as the All Stars, were the will get a first hand feel of what it like to be an All Star.

We host a variety of choreography, stunt and tumbling clinics and camps throughout the year.  These are often held during the summer and during holiday breaks. Check back with us in early spring for upcoming clinic dates.

Roberto Clemente State Park offers a variety of tumbling and gymnastics classes year round.  Classes vary based on skill level and age of participants.  Specifically, the park facilitates advanced tumbling classes for New York Xtreme All Star and All Star Prep cheerleaders.
